Great Barrier Reef
Tours
Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef Tours , it’s hard not
to think of one without the other. The World Heritage listed Great
Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef comprised of
3,000 individual reefs and coral islands along 2,300km of the Queensland
coast. It's the only living organism that can be seen from space and
is home to a myriad of sea creatures including dolphins, turtles,
dugongs and more than 1,500 species of fish.
Great Barrier Reef Tours explore the reef and the multitude of
marine life by snorkelling and scuba diving. Be sure to visit Diving
Queensland for great diving spots and more information on the Great
Barrier Reef and its tour.
Whether you're a diver or a snorkeller, you've come to the right

The Great Barrier ReefThe waters of Queensland offer some of the best underwater adventures
on earth. Take the plunge and discover this wide, blue wonder accessible
to all … azure seas sparkling against crystal white sand,
tropical islands, warm inviting waters home to a colourful kaleidoscope
of reefs, shoals, coral cays and mysterious shipwrecks teeming with
exotic tropical marine life. A mild climate and clear visibility
make year-round diving a vibrant reality.
It starts with the world's only natural underwater wonder - the
famous Great Barrier Reef.
This stretch of no less than 2900 reefs, cays and islands flanks
coast from the Torres Strait to the sub-tropical seas north of Bundaberg.
Some 1500 types of fish, 4000 types of molluscs and 350 types of
coral make this one of the most diverse marine environments on the
planet.
Where one of nature's wonders ends, another begins. The cooler
subtropical waters of Southern Queensland offer a myriad of different
experiences to those of the tropical waters in the north. World-class
wreck dives, reefs and vast rock walls boast abundant marine life,
with turtles, rays, wobbegongs, nudibranchs and large schools of
fish populating the various dive sites along the Southern Queensland
coast.

It can be as adrenalin-packed as coming face to face with a groper
and or a grey nurse shark or as relaxed as happening upon starfish,
sea cucumbers and conch shells during a lazy afternoon snorkel.
It's a natural wonder, but don't just wonder about it - come on,
